Advanced Plastics Group is pleased to announce the launch of our new design and product development service.
Based at the University of Lincoln, APG Design and Innovation offer CAD and product development services to both existing and new customers.
And it's not just plastics - we can offer a complete service including hardware and electronics supply through our approved supply chain partners.
Our staff have decades of experience assisting both innovators and established businesses to take their product concepts through development and into volume manufacture.
Workflow
Using the well-established Product Design Specification (PDS) approach to product development, APG Design use proven tools and techniques to ensure that delivered designs are matched to their product requirements.
Designed for Manufacturing
As part of a successful UK manufacturing company, we are focused on ensuring the manufacturability of our clients’ products - it’s not enough that a design looks good – equal consideration needs to be given to the production and commercial requirements of the product.
Turnkey Service
The Advanced Plastics Group has three factories across the UK carrying out subcontract assembly as well as the manufacture of injection mouldings.
APG Design are able to offer a seamless route from initial product concepts through to volume manufacturing within Advanced Plastics Group. This integration reduces time to market and eliminates the disconnect often experienced when moving from theoretical design to final product.
